We had an awesome time in SF....I so wish I could afford to live there. Haight Ashbury is definitely right up my alley.
We shopped till we dropped...literally...both Breezy and I would get back to the hotel after walking miles and miles and miles and flop down on the bed with sore feet and sore backs :).
The rental car was a convertible and the weather cooperated so we were able to put down the top a few times...after much trial and error to figure it out mind you.
Fishermans wharf was lots of fun too...she enjoyed the street dancers, the sea lions and the STORES...surprise, surprise.
We ate at some super cool restaraunts including one called the DAILY GRILL which is actually featured in the SF ads...it was a wonderful 1920's style eatery with a bartender/waitress who fitted the 20'x look to a T!!!
During one evening we were able to go for a drive down the coast and admire Californias wonderful beaches...sunsets and ecletic mix of people!!
